2009? how things have changed. a past from the past

Well today I'm writing hypothetical, my best friend phoned me today in the process of waking me up and reminding me its was my ex boyfriends birthday and that's old blah blah blah then he realised they were the same age. what.a.dick.
Its also quite relevant to my first art task of the summer a picture collage. love it.


which again made me think again about my old art because generally i make about people in my life. WHEN AND THIS IS DAMN OLD.


My HNC work ah yes i loved my hnc work.

This my readers is my monster. Its 3ft tall and 2 ft wide. 

Originally it as a nice piece and by piece i mean it was pretty bloody morbid then now its even more morbid.

Originally it was about the little struggles in relationships, partner relationships, friends, family and best friends.

it has a thorn bush running through it relating the people and starts with friends to boyfriends, friends and family. and how none of them are easy but most survive! it also says in German "everyone has something to hide."

irony.

But my readers that was 2009. YES a whole 3 years ago. now a little more sensible and less patient with idiots its now means to me the after breakdown of relationships.

SO now in 2012 it now  means friends that have left, what once was love and romance and rubbish like that is now   "feck run hide there's my ex boyfriend." so really i just see it as a break down and growing up and apart from people.

I'm scared I've offended people that can see them self's in my monster which is my joy! 

so 

i was then thinking about collage and how i use it every day life without even noticing. I like to keep things to remember  because i hate forgetting. so this is a personal peak into my wall!

There is art work; prints from my HND, and Edinburgh print makers, work from Stirling.


There is also random pictures Ive drew of been given a cool strawberry by a guy in my class, one from a baby shower and many things from exhibitions Ive been too.

 This is relevant because this is stuff that is important to me and things i want to remember art trips with unwilling friends, gigs with my best friend, dates at the cinema and business cards from contacts i must remember.


This is my happy collage and i will even keep added then put it in a box when it gets too much!
